LGBTQ2S+ Counselling
SUPPORT FOR INDIVIDUALS

Navigating the world as an LGBTQ2S+ individual (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer/Questioning, Two-Spirit, +) comes with unique challenges. While raised in the same social environment as everyone else, LGBTQ2S+ individuals are often required to process complex experiences related to identity, self-acceptance, and belonging. This can include internalized biases, struggles with self-worth, or the emotional toll of discrimination. In some cases, these challenges may lead to depression, anxiety, substance use, or even thoughts of self-harm. I am experienced in supporting individuals exploring their gender identity and sexual orientation, as well as those facing the emotional, spiritual, and social complexities that can arise. My goal is to offer a safe, compassionate, and affirming space where you can explore your identity, heal from emotional wounds, and embrace your authentic self. Whether you are questioning, coming out, or seeking support for ongoing challenges, you deserve to feel respected, understood, and empowered.
SUPPORT FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

When a loved one shares their LGBTQ2S+ identity, family and friends may experience a range of emotions—confusion, fear, grief, or uncertainty. It’s natural to have questions and need time to process. I offer a supportive space for family members and friends to explore their feelings, gain understanding, and navigate their own journey of acceptance. In our sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, share your concerns, and learn how to support your loved one with compassion and empathy. Healing and connection take time. I’m here to support you as you move toward greater understanding and acceptance.
